About us

Program Sponsorship

Our aim is to provide the latest in-depth knowledge to the Program Sponsors in each of the 5 competence areas. This knowledge is based on continuous academic research programs set out by the AiMark Program Committee.

This Committee meets annually to review progress and to obtain inputs from Program Sponsors on key objectives and issues for up to the next 4 years. The Committee will represent Program Sponsors as well as the academic network and the founders.

A Program Sponsor is a company which promotes and supports the creation of marketing knowledge. This may already be happening, for example through academic funding, student placements, membership of institutes, R&D projects etc.

Within AiMark, a Program Sponsor adopts at least one of the 5 competence areas. Whilst this adoption will involve monetary sponsorship, the emphasis is on the sharing of knowledge with the academic network and with other sponsors.

It is important that Sponsors feel that they are 'part of AiMark' and share the vision, ownership and challenge.

The benefits of being a Sponsor are the following services:

> Being at the Forefront: You will become part of a world-leading network in at least 1 of the 5 competence areas. You will be able to share your ideas with top professionals and also learn from them.

> Time-Exclusive Knowledge: At Board level, a workshop once a year on all relevant academic developments in the chosen area. This is based on the agreed research programs and on the briefing of your company needs. It will include a 'scan' of all relevant developments and a 'translation' into the company brief.

> Consulting: Prof. Steenkamp (or another Prof. in the network, based on agreed service level) as personal/company coach to ensure the practical application of new knowledge within your company. This means both spreading the knowledge within your company and providing the help to apply it to your strategy.

> Knowledge transfer into your own local Research Programs: On request, AiMark will advise, supervise and co-ordinate applied research projects arising from the new knowledge, with any data suppliers with whom you work.

> Competitive Edge: Early knowledge in the competence area will enable you make better assessments of marketing contributions (ROI); increase the company's competitive performance (market leadership); and make significant contributions to mid- and long-term profitability (shareholder value).

To become a Program Sponsor and have access to these exclusive services, call Richard Herbert on +44 208 967 4407. Sponsorship of each competence area will generally cost between Euros 75,000 and 100,000 plus per year dependent on the extent of the agreed research programs and the agreed consultancy levels. Sponsorship covers the access to expertise, not the access to data.
